Spring in Spring Glen

So, spring may have sprung a bit ago, but with no real heat or insulation in our little cottage, overnight stays haven't really been possible until late May--- our newest addition, Adler, seems to like to be warm when he sleeps, so he has to snuggle up with mom and dad until later this summer when he can spread out in his crib.

Over the winter, Mike scraped, stripped, rebuilt and painted all of the screens to the cottage, which you can see behind me and
Adler--- pretty nice color combination, no?
A pleasant suprise was that the "garden" such as it is, is filled with daffodils and lilies. Eventually I will have to rip out all this and re-plant them, but it is nice to have "free" plants to start with. There is also some mint growing rampantly throughout, and unfortunately some poison ivy which I need to take care of.
